Pre-Professional Pharmacy Program Curricula
Curricula for Students Enrolled in the
The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Hampton University requires prerequisite coursework equaling 96 or 83 credit hours. This approximates a two-to-three year program of study be completed in order to be considered for admission to the program.
The Three-Year Track requires completion of 95 credit hours of prerequisite coursework.
The Two-Year Advanced Placement Track requires completion of 80 credit hours of prerequisite coursework. The following additional conditions apply:
- Must obtain a preferred PCAT composite percentile of 50 of higher.
- Must obtain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher.
- Must complete the advance placement program within a maximum of three years.
- Must not have more than four failing grades in courses within the curriculum.
